Charlotte
Christou , is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Digital Frames Inc. Digital Frames Inc is a privately held corporation, whose primary product line is a digital picture frame, made for OEMs, to display digital imaging.
The company focuses on low cost, easy to use, digital imaging sharing
hardware. Ms. Christou serves on the Board of the Consumer Electronics
Association. Before founding Digital Frames Inc,
Christou’s background includes sales, marketing, engineering, management,
product development, contracts, organizational structures, warehousing, and distribution, on a global basis. She was the Head of US Sales for Fabrication and Systems at Avanti Corporate, a high tech software firm for Electronic Design Automation. She has a proven track record in sales with Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, and Avnet. She has spent over 19 years in digital imaging.
Before entering sales,
Christou held several engineering management positions, from design engineering to a technical director for E-Systems and Lockheed Martin, with over 12 years experience in hardware, software, and systems, specializing in embedded processor systems and digital imaging.
Christou holds a Master’s in Business from Rice University, and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. She was awarded Tau Beta Pi, and several other honors. She is a member of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA),
WITI (Women In Technology International) and NAFE (National Association of Female Executives).
